How do I respond???
Try some of these strategies to help you:
- Have conversations with your classmates, friends, family about the word(s). Sometimes it helps to talk it out with others.
- Go to an outside resource. Look on the internet, in books, or artwork for some inspiration. Sometimes seeing other artists' work or images is inspirational.
- Think outside of the box. Are there multiple meanings to the word? Is there a personal connection you can make to the word? Go beyond the literal meaning or first instinct. Ask yourself, "Is my idea too predictable?"
- Think about a unique way of making your response. What materials will best convey your idea?
